Can I make payments online?

You may submit payment online through the University’s CaneLink system with an e-check (ACH), a credit card, or wire transfer. Electronic personal check payments are free of charge. There is a merchant fee of 2.3% when paying with credit card.

Will I receive a confirmation for payments made online?

You will be sent an e-mail confirming your payment. You may also print the confirmation page once you have submitted your payment online.

What methods of payment are offered by the University?

Online Payments:

  • Credit Card *A 2.3% convenience fee is assesed for each transaction
  • Online Checking Account  *There is no fee to use this service
  • Wire Transfer

In-person or by mail:

  • Personal Check
  • Cashiers/Bank Check
  • Cash
  • Money orders

What address can I mail payments to?

Payments must be in U.S. dollars, drawn on a U.S. bank and must be made payable to "University of Miami". They must include the student's identification number and name to ensure credit to the student's account.

May I defer my payments?
