- 529 Plan Payments - There are various types of 529 plans categorized as 529 Private Plan or 529 Prepaid Plan
Checks and money orders must be in U.S. dollars, drawn on a U.S. bank and must be made payable to the “University of Miami.” Post-dated checks (checks with future dates) cannot be accepted.
Payment must include the student’s ID number to ensure credit to the student’s account. 529 plan providers and scholarship organizations must also include the student(s) name and ID number.
